Gals, if you haven’t realized it yet, get a clue: most guys are not into games. Don’t play “hard-to-get.” You don’t have to be easy, either.
Just be honest.
Games make it difficult for both parties to form a clear picture of the other. It is a weak block on which to build a long-term relationship.
If you want to reach out to a guy, then reach out to him (just don’t be a pest by calling him 10+ times in one day). If you want to spend the day with him, let him know. If being ‘you’ scares him away, then he wasn’t going to be a long-termer anyway. Wouldn’t you prefer to know that it wasn’t going to work out before investing months into a failed relationship and losing out on other opportunities to find love?
So many women ask “why didn’t he like me” after a guy walks away, cataloging all the ploys they tried, trying to identify the one that didn’t work, then consult with their girlfriends to add new tricks for the future, never acknowledging that it might be the ever-growing catalog of tricks causing the failures.
If you don’t believe us on this, don’t ask your girlfriends for advice this one time and ask a guy, instead.
